Les is the Principal Broker and Founder of First Capital Realty. In 35 years of commercial brokerage, he has been involved in the sale of over $6.5 billion worth of transactions. Les has specialized in the sale of apartments, principally in the Eastern United States. He founded First Capital Realty in 1984. He was also a founder and board member of First Washington Realty Trust (formerly a New York Stock Exchange traded REIT). Before that he founded River Ridge Properties (1981) after having worked as a Broker for The Cary Winston Company (now Transwestern). Prior to entering the field of real estate, Les was an executive with the Xerox Corporation in Washington, D.C., and Sydney, Australia. He is a board member and on the finance committee of the National Multi Housing Council. He has lectured on multifamily housing, maximizing asset value, and commercial real estate brokerage.

In over 34 years of commercial brokerage, Rick has closed on $4 billion of multifamily transactions. Rick has structured some of the largest and most complicated multifamily transactions in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area and throughout the Eastern Seaboard. He has been with First Capital Realty since August, 1984. Rick received his B.A. from the University of Maryland, and his Masters from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to his career in real estate, he was involved in educational and musical pursuits and still actively performs on guitar. (Rick is also a graduate of The Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, California.) Rick is on the Board of Directors of the National Multi Housing Council, has written articles for various real estate publications and has been a featured speaker/moderator at numerous industry symposiums..
